Summer that is (are you imagining The Black Eyed Peas playing in the background). We had a very fun Sunday with our family, we took Owen outside to play with his pool and water table. My boy LOVES being outside so anytime we can go out we make the most of it.
We started out with sunscreen, sunglasses, and the water hose.
Enjoying the water table, the best part is the water cannon attached!
Not too sure about the pool, the water was still pretty cold.
Taking a break to swing with daddy.
Back to the water with mommy.
Can't forget that water cannon, had to go after daddy.

Our Future
Mike and his friends all have children around the same age, it is so fun for them all to be able to play together. I know that we have a lot of fun memories ahead of us and I am sure a whole lot of trouble as well. Oh and don't worry this picture will definitely be used for the graduation scrapbooks.

There is Never a Dull Moment in Second Grade
Eeeek, I have never been scared of snakes but I can't say they are my favorite animal either. One of my students brought in both of her Ball Pythons and was very eager for me to hold it. It did not feel slimy one bit but almost rubbery. . and it really liked to use that tongue. I am guessing this may be my first and last time holding a snake!

Yummy, Yummy Yogurt
He. Is. Obsessed. Owen is not the best eater right now, going through a picky phase but when I tell him he has to finish up his dinner so he can have yogurt he eats up real quick.
Bath, Boots, and Booty
Owen is all about shoes, he even says the word "shoes" in the cutest way. He puckers up his lips and over exaggerates the word. After a bath one night he ran straight for daddy's boots and climbed right in. Got to love a baby's booty.
First Haircut
Thank you "Auntie" Stephanie for cutting Owen's hair! She made a special trip to her salon on her day off to cut Owen's hair. We would not have had anyone else cut it but her, it made that day even more special. Poor Owen, he doesn't have much hair on top or on the sides but from the back he was rocking a mullet. He did really well during the haircut, no screaming, kicking, crying, etc. I brought along a sucker for distraction, it worked perfect.
